We believe that what separates us from our competition is our absolute commitment to excellence in the results we provide. We are not the largest search firm in the United States, but rather a small company whose specialty is highly detailed, in depth, high quality results. We are in the business of helping construction organizations grow by acquiring executive excellence; not in the business of selling people.

It is not our intention to do business with every construction organization. Our thrust is to do very good work for a limited clientele. Our goal is to build a long lasting relationship with a client. We are proud of the fact that more than 90% of our business is done on a repeat basis with clients. We work for a relatively small group of companies and we try to provide them with the "cream of the crop".

We limit our activity, and do not attempt to place an extremely high volume of people. We have found that quantity often dilutes quality. Hiring the wrong person can be financial tragedy for you, and a personal tragedy for a candidate. We minimize the risks associated with acquiring human capital. A principal of our firm is active in and oversees every search we undertake.

We won't attempt an assignment unless we are confident we can fill it. We won't recommend anyone to a client unless we have thoroughly checked his track record and references. We won't recommend anyone who isn't pre-screened according to your salary and qualification parameters. In short, we won't waste your time with unqualified candidates. We are professional recruiters.

SERVICES AND METHOD

Outlined below is an explanation of our services in identifying, interviewing, screening, and placing personnel on a confidential basis. We can tailor our efforts to suit your specific requirements and details you wish us to provide. Our general aim is to locate the best possible talent, regardless of location.

  • Analysis - Initially, we develop and define a position specification with our clients which describes the basic responsibilities of the position, reporting relationships, education and experience necessary to satisfy the performance requirements in the position. In addition, information regarding an organization's history, objectives, problems, and personalities is compiled. The position specification and information relative to the client's present and future operations serve as a guide in determining whom we will contact during the course of our search. If possible, we prefer to visit a client's facilities, to understand the environment, personalities, and "corporate culture".
  • Research – Each assignment requires a unique plan. This part of the process will generally determine the outcome of the project. Identification of your competitors and the individuals who perform the desired specs are gathered here. Additionally, referrals from industry sources and existing contacts are sought out and analyzed.
  • Recruiting - The results of our research enables us to recruit directly from your competitor. This will generate candidates that are familiar with not only your services, but the marketplace in which you work.
  • Interviewing - To determine background, specific project experience, strengths, weaknesses, goals, an initial screening is performed via resume review, correspondence, and telephone meetings. We prefer to interview all serious candidates in person prior to presentation of their credentials to you.
  • Reference Checks – We believe accurate reference information is a critical ingredient in your decision making process. We are trained to obtain information of substance rather than comments from friends. Prior to presentation to our client, all candidates are thoroughly reference checked. We rely on our own industry sources in addition to references given by a candidate. We thoroughly check references with every employer, and develop an accurate appraisal of success, failure, strengths, and weaknesses. We also attempt to obtain comments from subordinates and peers.
  • Candidate Presentation - We provide detailed resume information, including a chronological listing of company, position, responsibilities, specific project, results of projects, and salary history. We also provide written reference comments at this time.
  • Coordination of Interviews - We assist you in arranging meetings with the candidates you select. Prior to and immediately after a meeting, the candidate and the employer will be prepped and debriefed in an effort to gauge interest levels.
  • Employment Offers - We prefer that formal employment offers are made by the client. However, we are prepared to assist you in structuring an acceptable offer. We are also available for resignation management where in the candidates are coached on how to respond to counteroffers.

In addition to your technical criteria, we seek personnel with demonstrated:

  • Intelligence/education
  • History of success
  • Personal ambition to succeed/motivation
  • Sound judgment
  • Results
